Mr. Aaker
has twenty-five years of engineering experience in evaluating failures,
nationally and internationally. Mr. Aaker has provided litigation
support and expert witness testimony on a variety of causes, including
identification of failures that are the result poor design, and misuse
of materials.
Mr. Aaker combines his metallurgical background with mechanical design
experience to accurately identify failures that are a result of poor
design or incorrect use of materials. Mr. Aaker is an authority on
construction methods, fabrication codes, and design codes. He is
experienced in the use of laboratory equipment and other analytical
tools required to evaluate construction materials and to test the design
basis.
In addition to providing engineering consulting services to insurance
companies and the legal community, Mr. Aaker is routinely staffed to
major industrial projects. Clients include: Fortune 500 companies in the
chemical, refining, oil & gas, pulp & paper, equipment manufacturer, and
transportation.
Mr. Aaker has published numerous papers and is a contributing author in
the American Society of Metal’s Failure Analysis Handbook. He has taught
in industry and at the University level. Mr. Aaker has held elected
office in various Professional Societies. Mr. Aaker is a registered
Professional Engineer.
Recent litigation experience includes working for the United States
Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Division, Expert
Witness Unit, Washington, DC. Mr. Aaker has also appeared before a
Congressional committee appointed by the President.

Mr. Earp has thirty years of experience in the oil and gas industry,
beginning with design for onshore refinery plants, moving to offshore
platforms and then floating exploration drilling, production and subsea

Ellenberger, P. E.
Mr. Ellenberger is a registered
professional Engineer. He has over 40 years of engineering and manufacturing management
experience. The last 28 have been involved with flow and pressure technology.
He has experience in design, stress analysis and field diagnosis and repair of
: Valves Pressure Vessels FCCU and Miscellaneous Petrochemical pressure equipment.
He is active in Codes and
Standards , serving on B31.3 Process Piping B31 Mechanical Design Committee B31
Materials, Fabrication and Examination Committee B16 Sub committees on Fittings
and on Flanges, MSS as Chairman of committee 113 and member of several others.
Currently he is writing a book on B16 Standards and related standards that is
scheduled to be published next year.

Mr. Landes is founder of and CEO of SH
Landes, Inc. He has performed projects in the USA and 30 foreign countries. His
experience includes business development, engineering, contracting, equipment
fabrication, facilities commisioning, training, expert witnessing and safety related
functions. Presently, Mr. Landes consults on the development of offshore productions
systems, onshore gas and liquid processing and safety management.

Mr. Nock is a consulting structural and design engineer with 25 years experience
in design, analysis, and construction. Structures have included tunnels, dams,
barges, pipelines and offshore facilities. Failure investigations have included
review of a buckled sewage outfall, an integrated tug-barge sinking, a drilling
rig jacking mechanism, personal fall prevention equipment and barge mooring appurtenances.

Michael E. Sawyer,

Mr. Sawyer has 15 years international
experience in the areas of system safety, hazard analyses, industrial loss control,
risk assessments and regulatory compliance for industry. Specialist in conducting
system safety analysis and risk assessments for process industries. Facilitated
numerous process hazard analysis projects ranging from ammonia refrigeration to
super critical water oxidation reaction.

Mr. Stahl is a consulting marine geologist/geophysicist
with 30 years of practical experience in support of engineering and construction
projects in coastal and offshore areas worldwide. Investigations have included
the site selection, construction support, and in some cases, failure evaluation
for pipelines, platforms, nuclear power plants, and port developments. Operational
experience includes all types of marine survey positioning and high-resolution

design, construction, start up, operation and maintenance, control
systems, communications, safety and emergency response, environmental
compliance, procurement and cost estimating.
